Evansville man wanted for attempted murder arrested

The search for an Evansville man wanted for attempted murder is over.

Officials say 24-year-old Jacob Higgins is being charged with attempted murder after an altercation at Show-Me's west side location in Evansville.

According to the Vanderburgh County Sheriff's Office, Higgins got into an verbal argument with a few people at Show-Me's. The verbal argument led into a physical fight.

Witnesses say Higgins took off in his Camaro and struck two men after they pointed a handgun at Higgins.

The two men were taken to Deaconess Hospital.

The Vanderburgh County Sheriff's Office say Higgins was arrested without incident at an Evansville location.

He is now in custody.
