There will be a fundraiser this weekend for a teenage girl fighting a rare type of cancer.
16-year-old Randi Idleman is battling a rare knee bone cancer.
She has to get intense chemo and will have an operation to remove the rest of the cancer from her knee on Wednesday.
Randi's mom will have to take a few weeks off of work to care for Randi, so to help with those costs friends are putting together a fundraiser.
It will be at Howell Park on Saturday between noon and 9:00.
They will have corn hole and horseshoe competitions, as well as other games and lots of food.
Despite chemo treatments, she remains enrolled in classes at North High School and is on track to graduate with honors.
