Health dept. continues to spray for mosquitos

The Vanderburgh County Health Department will continue to spray for mosquitos in high risk areas that tested positive for West Nile.

The first area is bound by East Lloyd Expressway, South Kentucky and Washington Avenues, and South Governor Street.

The other area is bound by Walnut and Southeast 2nd Streets, Culver and Southeast Riverside Drives.

These are areas where significant mosquito activity or West Nile virus activity has been found.

It's a good idea to stay indoors between dusk and dawn, and wear insect repellant to avoid getting bit.
