Man dies in tractor roll-over in rural C. Ind.

Authorities say a man was killed when a tractor rolled on top of him in a ditch in rural central Indiana.

Liberty Township Fire Department spokesman Matt Petro says the man was trapped by the tractor Sunday and died in about a foot of water. The man was mowing a field near the Hendricks County town of Clayton when the tractor rolled over.

Emergency workers believe the man was trapped for several hours before he was found Sunday night at the scene about 15 miles west of Indianapolis.

The man's identity wasn't immediately released.
