Second Street in O'boro to shut down for Blue Bridge work

OWENSBORO, KY (WFIE) -

Second Street in Owensboro will be shut down on Sunday to allow crews on the Blue Bridge project to work on the Kentucky side.

The closure is where Second Street runs under the bridge and should be in effect until October 1st.

Then the contractor can focus on the Indiana side until November 15th.

That's when the bridge is expected to reopen.

It's been closed since May 13th.
