Motorcycle rally roars through D.C. in tribute of 9/11

A huge motorcycle rally roared through the streets of Washington, D.C. on Wednesday in tribute to the victims of 9/11 and the troops called to serve after the attacks.

Organizers tried to get a last-minute permit to close some intersections on their planned route, but the National Park Service denied that request because of traffic concerns.

On its Facebook page, the group apologized for the gridlock it may have caused.
