If you've driven past USI this Wednesday, chances are you've seen this enormous flag.
The Perry Township Fire Department is continuing a 9/11 tradition.
This is the twelfth year, firefighters hung this giant 20 foot by 40 foot American flag over the USI overpass.
They tell us it takes about 20 minutes to put up.
They started this morning with a memorial service to honor those who lost their lives in the attacks.
The assistant fire chief tells us they get a lot of positive reaction from people who see it.
"A lot of honks, a lot of waves. A lot of cell phone pictures. We have quite a few people stop by and thank us and just talk to us to ask questions about why we do it," says assistant chief Jerry Bulger.
Firefighters tell us they plan to be at the overpass until at least 5 o'clock Wednesday, and Bulger tells us he will continue this tradition for as long as he is able.
