Decades long Tri-State golf tradition continues Thursday

Posted: Updated:

A 33 years long Tri-State golfing tradition gets underway this week.

On Thursday, the 33rd Annual Fall Classic Golf Outing will be teeing off at Helfrich Hills Golf Course at 7:30a.m, benefiting the Boys & Girls Club of Evansville.

This golf outing is a tradition in Evansville and one of the largest outings in the Tri-State.

This year's outing includes a Hole-In-One Contest and food and drink from local businesses.

"For 10 years I have had the privilege of working alongside volunteers and committee members who prepare for several months each year to make this golf outing a huge success for the kids at the Boys & Girls Club, said Ron Ryan, Executive Director. And, this year is no exception. "The community has rallied again to support our youth who need us most."

All participants are invited to a steak dinner immediately following play after the 33rd Annual Fall Classic and contributions for this outing are kept locally for over 2,000 kids at the Boys & Girls Club of Evansville.
