Never Forget

9-11 Remembered

President Obama will observe the 12th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon with a moment of silence and a visit to the Pentagon Memorial. Obama will join first lady Michelle Obama, Vice President Joe Biden, Jill Biden and members of the White House staff in a moment of silence on the White House South Lawn.

Local Observances

9-11 will be remembered around the tri-state as well.  Nicole is live to tell us about some observances in the EVSC, and also on the UE Campus.  Jess is live in Western Kentucky with details on some events there.

Syria Debate

His support is conditional and President Obama says the threat of military force remains on the table if Russian-inspired diplomatic efforts to seize and destroy deadly chemical weapons in Syria falter. Obama spoke to the nation last night, trying to make the case for a military option but admitting that convincing enough people remains a struggle.

More Heat

The hot and humid air mass will stick around until we can get a slow-moving cold front through during the day on Thursday.  Look for highs in the low to mid 90s today with heat indices in the 97 to 102 range.  A few scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible today and when the front moves through tomorrow.  70s for highs by Friday.  Chad is here with the First Alert forecast.

See you on Sunrise.
