Two Dawson Springs men arrested on various drug charges

HOPKINS CO., KY (WFIE) -

The Kentucky State Police arrested two Dawson Springs men on Friday on drug-related charges.

Kentucky State Police said they served a search warrant at a home on Racetrack Road in Dawson Springs around 7:30 p.m. Friday night.

Authorities said they found suspected methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and a handgun. 

44-year-old James A. Fassold and 28-year-old James D. Todd, both of Dawson Springs, were arrested without incident.

Fassold was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance - meth, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, and receiving stolen property under $500.

Todd was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance - meth, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and tampering with physical evidence. 

Both were lodged at Hopkins County Detention Center.
