VINCENNES, IN (WFIE) -

Five people were arrested after Vincennes police responded to a disorderly conduct call at Denny's restaurant.

Police were called to the Denny's on North Sixth Street in Vincennes due to several people fighting outside, one of them possibly with a gun.

Officers say they found 21-year-old Derrick Jackson and 22-year-old Keith McLemore fighting in the parking lot. Both were arrested for disorderly conduct.

Police say two more people in the parking lot refused to obey officers and interfered with their investigation. They say 22-year-old Steven Hawkins was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting law enforcement and 20-year-old Aaron Murray was arrested for disorderly conduct and minor consuming alcohol.

Troopers with Indiana State Police were also on scene and arrested one person for disorderly conduct.

All five men were booked into the Knox County Jail.

Vincennes police say the person with the gun left before officers were on scene and wasn't located.
