Police: woman using stolen credit card arrested

An arrest has been made regarding a residential burglary that happened over the weekend in Wadesville.

The Posey County Sheriff's Office say 38-year-old Tricia Schneider, of Evansville, was arrested on Thursday night.

Officials sent 14 News pictures of a woman of interest using a credit card that was stolen in that burglary. The stolen credit card was used at an Evansville grocery store.

Authorities say she may be involved in several burglaries in Evansville and surrounding areas. Investigators have found multiple pieces of evidence and say she stole several pieces of heirloom jewelry from homes in Evansville.

    Muhlenberg County Sheriff's Deputies say Ladonna Morris, admitted she took her neighbor's dog, Rex. She then drove him 45 minutes away, and left him in the middle of nowhere. Morris says on the video she caught Rex bothering her chickens. Someone found the Golden Retriever and returned him home a few days later after word of his disappearance spread on social media.
