COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier says he doesn't feel the same old hate from Georgia fans like he faced during his Florida days.

Still, he's doing his best to make Bulldogs supporters just as angry about the Gamecocks.

Spurrier has turned around a series in recent years owned by Georgia since the school's first played football in 1894. The Gamecocks have won three straight and four of the past six, and look to add to that total when No. 6 South Carolina plays at No. 11 Georgia on Saturday.

Spurrier brushes off the notion his recent success made a dent with Georgia and its fans, who have bigger rivalries with Florida, Auburn and Georgia Tech. Still, Spurrier's been a thorn in Georgia's side with a 15-5 career series record.
