Gibson Co. security guards honored for saving five abducted kids

GIBSON CO., IN (WFIE) -

The security guards in Gibson County credited with saving five children who had been abducted were honored on Wednesday for their actions.   

Sergeant Zach Smith, Officer Vern Fidler, and Officer Kathleen Memmer were presented with the Universal Protection Service's Life Saving Award.  

Marvin Boze is accused of taking the children and tying up two of them, before taking off after the security guards at Duke Energy found the children.
