Two people were arrested Friday night for manufacturing meth in Posey County.
Indiana State Police say 40-year-old James Fernando Price and 29-year-old Crystal Miller were arrested around 6:15 p.m. at a home in the 12900 block of Cavalier Lane in Poseyville.
Troopers said there was a strong odor of ammonia coming from inside the house. Inside the home, troopers found numerous ingredients commonly used to make meth and a meth lab.
State Police said Price's seven-year-old son was also in the house at the time of the search. Further investigation showed that Miller's two daughters, a 13-year-old and an eight-year-old also live in the house, but were not home.
Price and Miller were both arrested and taken to the Posey County Jail where they are currently being held on bond.
Price is charged with Manufacturing Meth, Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Possession of Precursors, and Neglect of a Dependent.
Miller is facing charges of Manufacturing Meth, Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Possession of Precursors, and two counts of Neglect of a Dependent.
