In the Danger Zone

The National Weather Service has been issuing statements this morning about this scorching heat which is settling over the region.  We'll hit the mid 90's today and into the holiday weekend, with heat indices expected to be over 100.  Byron will have the complete 14 First Alert Forecast.

Syria Latest

Secretary of State John Kerry has issued the clearest justification yet for U.S. military action in Syria, should President Barack Obama approve. Kerry says evidence of chemical weapons use is "undeniable" and intelligence strongly points to the users being regime forces. An attack would most likely involve sea-launched cruise missiles aimed at Syrian military targets.
