Indiana fans are going to have a different game plan this season.
On Monday, athletic director Fred Glass outlined a series of updates the school has made to create a better game-day experience for fans - everything from the nation's tallest flagpole to flat-screen televisions in the concourse to better cellphone reception.
Some of the changes, Glass said, will be noticeable when fans start showing up at Memorial Stadium for Thursday night's opener against Indiana State.
The two most glaring will be the addition of a prow from the USS Indiana outside the stadium and the 154-foot flagpole, which is now eight feet taller than Ohio State's, which was the tallest in the Football Bowl Subdivision.
Others, such as the new chants, may take more time to catch on.
