About 1,200 Newburgh residents were without their power Saturday morning.
Vectren crews reporting an outage for about 1,200 of the Newburgh customers. They say the cause was a problem with wire-to-pole attachment.
Customer outages were down to 170 customers around 1:30 Saturday afternoon. Vectren officials say that during repairs, a hawk triggered an outage on same circuit when it landed on a transformer.
However Vectren says all power should be restored. The outage last for about three hours.
