The Auburn Tigers practiced two hours in shells late Thursday afternoon at the Auburn Athletics Complex practice fields. It was their first practice session since Fall Semester classes began Wednesday on the Auburn campus.

"It felt good to be out in the heat," Coach Gus Malzahn said after Thursday's workout. "The guys were flying around; they responded well. We focused mainly on game situations, like the two-minute drill."

The Tigers will hold an early Friday morning walkthrough before taking Saturday off. Auburn's season opener is Saturday, August 31, at Jordan-Hare Stadium versus Washington State in a 6 p.m. Central kickoff.
