Former Breckenridge County sheriff still missing

BRECKINRIDGE CO., KY (WAVE) - As of Saturday morning, former Breckinridge County Sheriff Bobby Haynes is still missing, according to Sheriff Todd Pate.  

A Golden Alert has been issued.

Haynes, 89, was last seen around 3:30 p.m. Thursday driving a red 1994 Chevrolet S-10 on his family's property while other members of his family were bailing hay. The truck has Kentucky license plate number 636-BBB. Haynes was wearing western-style clothing and a U.S. Navy cap. Authorities said Haynes has Alzheimer's disease.

Haynes was Breckinridge County sheriff in the early 1980s.

Anyone who sees Haynes should call Breckinridge County dispatch at 270-756-6266.
