Deputies: Patoka man arrested for DWI

A Patoka man was arrested on Saturday for driving while intoxicated.

Gibson County Sheriff's Deputy U.B. Smith pulled over a red 1998 Chevy pickup truck on West Street in Patoka for driving without headlights on.

Upon approaching the vehicle, Deputy Smith discovered that the driver, 48-year-old Robert C. Turner had a "strong smell of an Alcoholic beverage."

A roadside investigation was conducted by Deputy Smith and Turner was transported to the Gibson County Jail where he was charged with Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated.

Turner has posted a $450 cash bond.
