A judge in Spencer County ruled that DNA evidence, that was tested in the Netherlands, can be used to defend a former Indiana State Police trooper.
David Camm is accused of killing his wife and two children 13 years ago.
The prosecution has argued that DNA testing done in the Netherlands is unreliable, but a Spencer County judge has ruled it admissible.
The former ISP trooper was convicted twice in the past, but both convictions were overturned.
His trial is expected to start on Monday.
