Central City man arrested, charged with cultivating marijuana

Michael W. Nelson of Central City has been arrested and accused of a felony charge of growing marijuana for what authorities allegedly found inside his home.

On Wednesday, Detectives and Deputies from the Muhlenberg County Sheriff's office went to the home for a "knock and talk" investigation.

They say they were able to determine that Nelson had plants and other suspected paraphernalia used for growing marijuana.

He faces a count of Cultivating Marijuana, 5 plants or more (a Class D Felony.)
