Holiday World bringing award-winning acts to Christian music festival

SANTA CLAUS, IN (WFIE) -

Holiday World will host a Christian music festival featuring various regional acts, as well as some popular, award-winning bands in mid-August.

On Saturday, August 24, GRAMMY-winning alternative rock band Switchfoot will be performing at the "Rock the World Christian Music Fest" with Dove Award-nominated Kutless, double GRAMMY-winning Audio Adrenaline and Richmond, Indiana's own Adam Cappa.

The group The Great Romance from Belleville, Illinois, was chosen to open for Switchfoot from nearly 90 regional bands that "e-auditioned" for the spot.

Other regional bands selected to perform throughout the day include:
