LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A man was arrested Tuesday morning in connection to the stabbings of his wife and mother-in-law at an east Louisville home.
William C. Wade, 40, was charged with two counts of first degree assault.
The Louisville Metro Police Domestic Violence Unit is investigating the stabbings, which happened just before midnight in the 9900 block of Spring Ridge Drive near the intersection of Shelbyville Road and Hurstbourne Parkway.
Police said Wade stabbed his wife during an argument and that she in turn stabbed her husband. Wade's mother-in-law was inside the home and was stabbed as well, according to investigators.
All three were taken to University of Louisville Hospital with what police said were non-life-threatening injuries. Investigators were seen talking to neighbors looking for any witnesses to the alleged assaults.
