HOAX: Peyton Manning breaks both legs in car crash

Did you hear Peyton Manning broke both of his legs in a car wreck this weekend?

Did you also hear that the whole thing was a complete hoax?

The story was created by the story generator fakeawish.com and posted on the fake Global Associated News sports news website.

The original "report" stated that a 76-year-old woman driving a 2010 Audi ran a red light and crashed into Manning's 2012 BMW.

Even though these details were identical to those used in the Tony Romo hoax back in March, many people believed it and took to Twitter to spread the false news.

However, a photo taken and tweeted by Denver sports reporter Arran Andersen shows that the Broncos Quarterback is up and walking around just fine.
