GIBSON CO., IN (WFIE) -

The coal truck driver flown to St. Mary's Hospital Monday afternoon after a three-vehicle crash on Highway 57 has been checked out of the hospital.

However, his current condition is unknown.

Randall Underhill, of Boonville, was flown to St. Mary's in Evansville after an accident involving his coal truck, an ice truck, and a pickup truck.

Deputies say the coal truck flipped onto its side.

Those in the ice truck went to the hospital on their own. The driver of the pickup was not injured.

Deputies shut down all northbound and southbound lanes of State Route 57 for about two hours while they worked to clear the scene.
