You don't want to miss the Evansville Museum's annual gala that will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2013. Reservations for this event need to be submitted by Wednesday, July 24. Traditionally this event has been held in November, but with the opening of the new Koch ImmersiveTheater scheduled for next winter, the gala has been moved away from that celebration.
This year's party, Time After Time: A Prom, will be held at Tropicana Evansville's Walnut Rooms A & B (formerly CasinoAztar). As this is a year of change for the Museum, the event's co-chairs, Michelle and Philip Eykamp and John and Alice Nugent wanted to try something entirely new! They are planning a prom themed event – a "graduation to the next era for the Museum."
Guests are invited to dress in prom attire – from any era – and join the event's master of ceremonies and trustee Andrew Wilson, for this great end-of-summer celebration, featuring a fun evening of dinner, music, and dancing to the exceptional tunes of Nashville's popular group, Top Tier. Ticket prices are $100 per person for people graduating in 1996 or earlier, and $75 per person for anyone graduating after 1996. Prepaid tables of eight are available for $1,000, and guests can name their table (ex. Mater Dei High School, Class of 1977).
This event is an important way to support the Museum's operating fund. If you would like to join in celebrating the next era of your Evansville Museum, call the Museum at (812) 425-2406 or http://www.emuseum.org/time-after-time-gala.
