Henderson Police: Man thrown from motorcycle refuses treatment

Henderson Police were called to a two-vehicle accident involving a motorcycle in the 2800 block of U.S. Highway 41 around 7:30 a.m. on July 17.

A motorcycle driven by Michael C. Blasser, 64, from Henderson was traveling northbound in the outside lane of U.S. 41 when a vehicle driven by Dexter Thomas, 41, from Georgia turned right from 2826 Highway 41 N.

Thomas failed to yield to the right of way, giving Blasser insufficient time to slow down.

Even though he was thrown from his motorcycle when he ran into Thomas's vehicle, Blasser refused treatment at the scene for his injuries.
