A Mecklenburg County judge issued an order for Ric Flair's arrest just one day after his ex-wife was arrested, according to the Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office website.
The professional wrestler was held in contempt earlier in July for not paying his ex-wife, Jacqueline Baines Beems, spousal support he was ordered to pay.
The Sheriff's Office issued an arrest warrant for Beems on Monday.
The arrest warrant said that Beems was wanted for harassing phone calls.
She was listed as in the custody of investigators on Tuesday morning.
Entertainment news website TMZ says the warrant stems from a series of harassing phone calls Beems made last year to Flair's girlfriend, Wendy Barlow Kidder.
Beems was Flair's fourth wife and filed for legal separation in November 2012. The divorce was finalized last year.
Earlier this year, Flair's son Reid died from a drug overdose in a South Park hotel room.
Beem's bond has been set at $500.
