Humvees, vintage military vehicles, fire trucks,and more all gathered in Evansville on Saturday for SMILE on Down Syndrome's first Trucks & Heroes event.
Those young and young at heart got the opportunity to check out some of the Tri-State area's biggest and most fun trucks and working vehicle. It was be an opportunity for those who attended to meet up close some of our area's finest police, fire, medical, and military heroes.
The event took place in the parking lot of Deaconess Gateway Hospital Saturday morning and the goal of the event was to raise $10,000 to help support the mission and visions of S.M.I.L.E. on Down Syndrome.
