Benefit for Frankee underway in Owensboro

Posted: Updated:
OWENSBORO, KY (WFIE) -

The first annual benefit ride for Frankee, the Ohio County two-year-old who swallowed a powerful ingredient used to make meth, is already underway in Owensboro.

The event is taking place Saturday at Maloney's on Highland Point Drive.

There will be a bike show, silent auction, a half pot, music and more at Saturday's event. The music starts at 3:00 p.m. with No Hurry and Josh Merritt Band taking the stage.

It's all for Frankee. Organizers say all proceeds are for the toddler and her medical care.

Organizers say a trust fund has been set up at US Banks in Owensboro if anyone is interested in donating. For more information or donations, Don Adams at sellcars@bellsouth.net or 270-256-5430. You can also contact Miranda Smith at 270-256-4179.

Follow Frankee's Voice on Facebook for updates.
