Former Baltimore Raven coming to Kentucky

Two-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year and 12-time legendary Pro Bowler Ray Lewis of the Baltimore Ravens will be paying the city of Paducah, Kentucky, a visit in August.

The two-time Super Bowl champion and future Hall of Famer will be at the McCracken County High School (MCHS) Strawberry Hills Pharmacy Arena on August 17 for "An Evening of Excellence" starting at 7 p.m.

Tickets are $45 for upper level seating, $65 for lower level seating, and meet and greet tickets are $125.

Tickets can be purchased at City Rockers Pizza & Salad Bar located at 156 Bleich Road and Paducah Shooter's Supply at 3919 Cairo Road.

The MCHS Football Boosters are sponsoring the event.

Lewis is one of only six players to earn the AP Defensive Player of the Year Award multiple times (2000 and 2003).

Named to the 2000s All-Decade Team, he played in 228 games during his career, achieving 41.5 sacks and 31 interceptions.

As the second draft pick in Ravens history, and the No. 26 pick overall in the 1996 NFL Draft, Lewis is the all-time franchise leader in various categories, including tackles (2,643), fumble recoveries (31), seasons (17), games played (228) and playoff games (11).
