Power is back on in the town of Providence, Kentucky this morning.
KU officials confirm power was restored after a substation fire Wednesday.
Roughly 700 households were without power while crews worked throughout the night.
We're told the connectors and other components of the Webster County substation burned and the transformer itself wasn't damaged.
The Red Cross provided service for those needing a place to cool off.
