Pair arrested on drug trafficking charges after pot, cocaine found in car

OWENSBORO, KY (WFIE) -

Two men are arrested on drug trafficking charges in Daviess County, KY after a traffic stop.

It happened Monday on the Natcher Parkway just south of Owensboro.

Detectives with Owensboro Police Department, along with the Daviess County Sheriff's Deputies, arrested 26-year-old Nicholas Spinks and 24-year-old Cody Gray.

Authorities say around one and a half pounds of marijuana and one ounce of cocaine were found in their car.

Spinks and Gray were arrested and lodged into the Daviess County Detention Center.
