The pro golfers in town for the United Leasing Championship at Victoria National paid a visit to some sick and injured children at St. Mary's Hospital on Tuesday.
This is something pro players say they do in the cities on their tours. They handed out hats, signed some casts, and they say they gained some perspective on the week
"It definitely puts things in perspective. I mean, when you're having a stressful day on the golf course, coming in here and seeing kids that are battling real issues, it puts it in perspective. You know, 'OK, maybe that bogey wasn't too bad,'" says Aaron Goldberg, a Web.com golfer.
Players say they plan to visit again during next year's tournament.
