PRINCETON, IN (WFIE) - Downtown Princeton, Inc. will soon introduce a new and different dining option for lunch in downtown Princeton.
The organization will start its new program, "Food Truck Mondays," beginning Monday, July 1.
Each Monday (except July 8) until August 26, food trucks will be parked in front of the pocket park on the north side of the Gibson County Courthouse on State St. from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The menu selections available will range from hot dogs and grilled tenderloins to wood-fired pizzas and gourmet salads with locally-grown produce.
"'Food Truck Mondays' is just one of our many, on-going efforts to encourage people to come downtown," said Kelly Dillon, president of Downtown Princeton, Inc. "We hope that people will be able to enjoy their lunch in either the gazebo or in one of the pocket parks around the square and maybe spend a little time shopping in some of the downtown retail stores."
