First Lego Academy a success

A new program hosted for kids this summer in Henderson. It's the first Lego Summer Academy and just like the name suggests, it's all about building things.

Organizers say the interest is there because all spots filled up. About 30 kids spent the camp building airplanes, robots and cars together.

Niya Davis is one student who took part. She says, "It feels like school but it's not, it's more fun. And you get to meet new people."

The academy is free, paid for by a National Science Foundation Grant.
