Henderson Police say overnight vandalism sparks investigation

Posted: Updated:

Henderson Police are investigating more than a dozen cases of overnight vandalism.

Police tell 14 News that there was window damage on 14 different vehicles, all shot with BB's. The cases occurred in various parts of Henderson including Helm, Powell, North Elm, Fifth, and Seventh Streets.

"We usually have an upswing in things such as this," says Jennifer Richmond. "Criminal mischief, minor property damage. During the summer months when the students are out of school. I'm hazarding a guess at saying most likely it is younger people."

If your vehicle was damaged and you haven't reported it, police encourage you to do so.

If you have any information on the vandalism, you're asked to call Henderson Police.
