Renovations are happening to the Old Post Office building in Downtown Evansville.
The handicap accessible ramp at the rear of the building is nearly finished, and work on a new roof starts next week.
New windows, slate and stonework are also on the list to renovate. We're told outside renovations should be completed by the end of September.
The city is also waiting on federal approval of the inside floor plans. Once those are approved, the city will start interior renovations for the new tenants- the General Services Administration and Social Security Administration.
