Summer Social Storm Damage

A local church is hit hard by storms, and now members of Good Shepard in Evansville are asking for help from the community as they get set to begin their annual Summer Social. Some of the event booths were knocked around and they're asking for volunteers to come help them get things cleaned up.  Nicole is live with the details on Sunrise.

More Storms?

A cold front to our north will combine with some upper level energy to produce scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly this afternoon and evening as the front moves in.

STAY ALERT:
Chad says the Storm Prediction Center has much of the northern half of the tri-state under a SLIGHT RISK for severe weather.  Although it's unlikely we'll see widespread severe storms, damaging winds and large hail will be a threat with any storms that do become strong.

I-64 Wreck

We expect to learn the names and conditions of the victims in an accident in Gibson County. It happened on I-64 near Highway 41 around five o'clock Monday evening. Deputies say a white Schnuck's truck lost control and went through the median, hitting two semis and a car.

Wheelchair Workshop

It's the deadline to reserve your spot for a training session that focuses on helping people in wheelchairs in Owensboro. Alyssa is live with the story.

Enjoy your day, and we'll see you on Sunrise.
