A parent is accused of allowing her teenage son to sell morphine to his classmates. That mom, Christina Mohr, is now in the Perry County Jail.
Mohr lives on 14th Street in Tell City, and police say that she let her son sell the drugs to enhance her income.
Detective Alan Malone says the investigation started in the Perry County Probation Office, and that suspicions there led to a search of Mohr's home. Inside, Malone says officers found many empty pill bottles and several other containers that Mohr kept her prescription medications in.
Officers then found out Mohr had been giving her morphine pills to her 15-year-old son to be sold in several different places around the county. Malone says the pills were sold to other teenagers between the ages of 15 and 18.
"There is no indication or no evidence that he has sold them at school, but he has sold them here, in and around Tell City," says Malone.
