Camp teaching cub scouts international activities

Over 400 cub scouts gathered the Eykamp Scout Center on Thursday for the second day of camp.

This year's theme is "Scouting Around the World," and the fun filled day included numerous activities for the boys.

A Tai Chi instructor showed them some moves, the Evansville Museum brought a mummy exhibit, and the scouts did arts and crafts. But for the scouts, it was all about having fun.

"We've done a lot of stuff about it," says Caleb Humphrey. "We got to shoot bows, bb guns, and we made musical stuff yesterday. It's been wildish."

250 more cub scouts are expected to attend camp over the next two weeks.

The boy scouts were also on hand to help teach the cub scouts how they can grow to serve the community as they get older.
