The W.C. Handy Blues and Barbecue Festival is underway.
It's one of the largest free music festivals in the nation.
Thursday is red beans and rice night, but if that's too tame you can also try gator on a stick.
The Handy Committee will be serving up those and other Cajun goodies all day.
The festival kicked off last week, and there have been a some performances but it's all just been gaining momentum for Friday and Saturday.
In two days alone there will be 12 performances.
The Henderson Music Preservation Society puts on the festival. It is a non-profit organization, and all proceeds are used 100% to fund the next year's show.
