Crop for Literacy to raise friends and funds for Literacy Center

Harrison College will be the site of the third annual Crop for Literacy, a fund/friend raising event to benefit the Literacy Center's Basic Adult Literacy Program.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, July 20th with check in beginning at 9:00am and food, fun, prizes, make and takes throughout the day until 8:00 pm. Early Bird Registration is $25 per participant until June 18th.  Registration from June 19th until July 18th is $35.00 per participant.

There will be attendance prizes for everyone and lots of raffle prizes.  The grand prize is from Papa's Cottage.  "The 11 hours of cropping/crafting time has proven to be lots of fun for the participants and we are looking forward to working with Harrison College to host the event," said Jennifer Wigginton, Executive Director.  

Information and registration forms are available for download at www.litcenter.org or by calling The Literacy Center at 812-429-1222.  A registration form may be requested by e-mailing cropforliteracy@litcenter.org.

Registration deadline is July 18, 2013.
