A Tri-State mother is facing a whole host of charges after a run in with police.

It happened Monday night when 27-year-old Krystal Ellen Stofleth was pulled over on suspicion of drunk driving.

According to police, Stofleth was sitting at a turn lane on Old 41. The police report says her small child was found unrestrained in the front seat.

Luckily, officers say the child is uninjured.

After failing sobriety tests, Stofleth was arrested on charges of driving under the influence, neglect of a dependent, driving with a suspended license and without insurance as well as criminal recklessness.

Officers then arrested her husband on an outstanding warrant. He was found at a nearby motel.

The child is now in foster care with Child Protective Services.
