Three arrested in shooting death of Evansville woman

Evansville Police have made three arrests in connection with the shooting death of Angie Dixon.

The investigation began when officers were dispatched to 1360 S. Lombard at the Arbors at Evansville apartments around 11:00 Thursday morning. Police believe Dixon was shot during an attempted robbery.

During the investigation, police determined that three people were in the apartment with Dixon when she was killed.

EPD were able to identify the three individuals and all are now in police custody.

Police arrested 19-year-old Katyun Jerrod Marsh on Murder charges, who police believe shot Dixon during the robbery.

Also arrested were 29-year-old, Brandi Michelle Phillips, and 24-year-old, Blake Anthony Fisher, on Robbery with Seriously Bodily Injury, Conspiracy, and Assisting a Criminal charges.

This is an on-going investigation and no other details have been released at this time.
