A Henderson man about to be locked up got into even more trouble this weekend.

He's accused of trying to sneak contraband into the Henderson County Detention Center.

Our media partner, WIKY, reports 30-year-old Robert Allen Bluem was checking into the detention center to serve a weekend sentence, when jailers received information that Bluem might be in possession of contraband.

Bluem claimed he had no contraband with him, then took back that statement when jailors prepared to conduct a search of him. He had a bundle taped to his groin area with loose tobacco, marijuana, smokeless tobacco, and prescription pills.

Bluem is now charged with first-degree promoting contraband.
