Donate to Salvation Army relief efforts

14 News and WIKY are teaming up with the Salvation Army to provide help to the victims of the Oklahoma tornado.

Major Steve Morris, with the Oklahoma Salvation Army, says they have 14 different feeding trucks in Moore right now.

He says within the next couple of days they are hoping to give out gift certificates to those families.

"Right across the street is a Walmart that hasn't been touched and they're back open for service," says Major Morris. "Our concept is we want to infuse the local community with funding and it props up the local economy. The gift cards will go for clothing, diapers, baby food all the immediate things."

The money will be given to the Salvation Army there to use however the community needs it most.
