PRINCETON, IN (WFIE) -
Authorities have released the mugshot and charge of the man who's accused of shooting his girlfriend in the parking lot of a Mexican restaurant.

Jason Perry is in the Gibson County jail awaiting a probable cause hearing Thursday. He is charged with murder.

The crime was shocking because of the setting. A mother taking her 13-year-old son to lunch to celebrate his graduation.

Walking from the vehicle to Las Aztecas in Princeton, she was gunned down in broad daylight.

Authorities believe that shot was fired by Perry, the on again/off again boyfriend of the victim and the father of that teenager.

Authorities have been extremely slow releasing the name of the victim. That's expected later Thursday morning.

However here friends have already been talking about the victim, and her relationship with perry.
